Dr. Said El deib is a Pediatrician and Neonatologist whose experience in the field spans 15 years, backed by a higher education degree from royal college in UK. He is pioneering as an open and contextual evaluation model based on constructive responses, which has led in the creation of new methods to improve pediatric healthcare, neonatology and pediatric nutrition. Dr. Said has established this model following his years of experiences in medical practice, research, evaluation, and teaching in hospitals and medical universities in the region, including Egypt, Kuwait and the UAE.

Dr. Catherine Christie is Associate Dean and Professor in the Brooks College of Health, University of North Florida. She is co-author of four books including The Latino Food Lover’s Glossary, Fat is Not Your Fate, Eat to Stay Young and I’d Kill for a Cookie and serves as Editor of the Manual of Medical Nutrition Therapy. Dr. Christie earned her Masters and Ph.D. from Florida State University and has authored 24 peer reviewed journal articles. Her research focuses on overweight and obesity prevention and treatment, nutrition in chronic disease prevention and treatment, and inter-professional collaboration in education and health care.

Laura Rodriguez received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2013 from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the director for the Traditional Nursing Undergraduate Program at the University of Texas at El Paso School of Nursing. She is the Course Coordinator the Senior Nursing Practicum. Her expertise is in Pediatric health. She has presented at local and state conferences on health related topics as well as academic topics. Presentations range from Childhood Obesity Interventions to the Use of Guided Reflection for Nursing Students.

Teresa Johnson completed her Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University in 2010. She is a professor at Troy University and has worked in pediatric populations as a registered dietitian/nutritionist for more than 25 years.

Guillermo Godoy graduated from San Carlos University in Guatemala, the only Medical School at that time in Guatemala. He did a residency in Pediatrics at Roosevelt Hospital and again when he came to United States of America, he repeated a Pediatrics residency at The University of Arkansas Medical Sciences/Arkansas Children's Hospital from 1980 to 1982. Then he did his Perinatal Medicine-Neonatology fellowship at The University of Alabama in Birmingham from 1982 to 1985 and stayed on the Neonatology staff for one year. He is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the DCH Health System NICU's since 1986. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Obstetrics at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He was Chairman of the Pediatrics Department and the Chief of Medical Staff. He helped to establish the Ethics Committee at the DCH Health System Hospitals in 1987. He published many manuscripts, especially in the areas of neonatal infections and cardiopulmonary pathophysiology. He have been invited to lecture about these topics in several institutions. He is actively involved in the development of CPOE/EMR and electronic progress notes at his institution.

Research Intertest: Pediatrics BioEthics, Cardiopulmonary disorders of the newborn and Infectious diseases of the newborn.

Jos Draaisma has completed his MD at the age of 26 years from Radboudumc and PhD at the age of 29 years. He is head of the department of general pediatrics, director of the pediatric residency program, and director of the pediatric education program. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of different pediatric and medical education journals.

Theresa Loomis received her Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has 14 years of experience in neonatal and pediatric nutrition. Her research focuses on on the impact of an RD in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the impact of standardized feeding guidelines for low birth weight infants, the use of post-discharge formulas in low birth weight (LBW) infants, and the adequacy of vitamin D intake in LBW infants. Currently Theresa is an Assistant Professor at SUNY Oneonta and is the Director of the Masters Program and Dietetics Internship.

Nutrition care of the high-risk infant, Her doctoral work looked at the impact of standardized feeding guidelines for low birth weight infants on enteral nutrition administration, growth, and bone and liver health.
